Hustalen reserve # 1
is situated on the north east side of the Adams Lake
across from Interfor Mill. It is 2178.0 acres in size. There are
presently 49 leases on this reserve on surrendered land that the band
receives lease rental and tax money from each year. There is currently
one band member family that resides on CP land. Current access to this
reserve is by Ferry only. This reserve is used by band
members for various traditional food and medicines.
Squaam reserve # 2
is situated on the north west side of Adams Lake.
It is 80 acres in size. There are presently 32 leases on this reserve
on surrendered land that the band receives lease rental and tax money
from each year. There are currently no band members that reside on this
reserve.
Toops reserve # 3
is situated on the South west end of Adams Lake across
from Hustalen reserve. This reserve is only 25 acres in size and has
one unregistered lease on it that pay the band lease and tax money each
year. Currently there are three band members that reside on this small
reserve.
Sahhaltkum reserve # 4
is situated across the South Thompson River from the
town of Chase. This reserve is 3,477.60 acres and has 12 leases and 1
road right of way on it. This reserve is our largest reserve out of the
seven reserves this is where we have the main Administration buildings,
including, Administration, Natural Resources, Health, Education,
Maintenance & Housing, School, Day Care, Lands, Taxation, Finance,
Elders, Head Start, Volunteer Fire Dept. This reserve is one of the
main reserves that band members live one. This reserve has their own
water and we have sewer hook from the the town of Chase . The band
receives lease and tax money from the leases and has a agreement in
place for services from the town of Chase and TNRD (Thompson Nicola Regional
District)
Stequmwhulpa reserve # 5
is situated approximately five miles east of Chase
along the Trans Canada Highway. It is 218.99 acres and has eight leases
and one road right of way. The band receives lease and tax money from
the leases.
Switsemalph reserve # 6
is situated six miles West of Salmon Arm. This reserve
is 750.15 acres and has 32 unregistered lease and one registered lease
CP land holders have leases on their land that the band is not involved
with but the band does collect taxes from them. This reserve has water
hook up from the city of Salmon Arm , but does not have the sewer hook up.
If the band were to develop this land they would need to have a
designation vote to designate the land for leasing purposes. The band
receives lease and tax money from the leases.
Switsemalph reserve # 7
is situated right in the city of Salmon Arm. This
reserve is 306.602 acres and has seven registered leases with numerous
sub-leases and a couple of unregistered leases. This reserve is the
main commercial / industrial area leases. We also just developed a new
sub-division lot called West Harbour Village which has two phases of
residential homes. The band receives lease and tax money from these
leases, and the band has a Servicing Agreement signed with the city of
Salmon Arm and with CSRD (Columbia Shuswap Regional District)

Performs these main functions for the seven Adams Lake reserves:
- assists band members on all land matters
- administers Band's leased lands
- advises Chief and Coucil on land issues
- deals with professionals on all related land matters
- works closely with finance department to oversee invoicing and follow-up
