Programs and services include tuition, allowances, school fees & supplies. Guidance and counseling is also provided by the Education Coordinator, the K-12 Education Worker, the Youth Worker, and tutor. For More information contact: K-12 Worker.

Financial support for Adams Lake students includes tuition fees, cost of books and when applicable travel and living allowance. Deadline for submission of application is March and November of every year.

The Chief Atahm School, is a Secwepemctsin Immersion School located on the Adams Lake Reserve Number Four. The school has been in existence since 1991 and is one of the few immersion schools in Canada. The program was initiated by a group of parents who were very concerned about the rapid decline of Secwepemctsin. The full immersion program enhances the existing measures being taken to revive and maintain the Secwepemc language to ensure a base of fluent speakers for the future. Switsemalph Learning Center is located in Salmon Arm on Adams Lake Reserve no. . It was built in 1998 to offer opportunities for adults to upgrade literacy and CORE courses accredited through School District #83.

T U T O R I N G :

First Nations Steering Committee(FNESC), School District #73 and #83 provide funding to assist with tutoring to improve education at the local level. One tutor is hired 10 hours a week to tutor in Salmon Arm and Chase for K-12 Adams Lake Band students.
